Technical: the plumbing Google grades
Schema, sitemaps, speed, and why they quietly decide rankings.
The unglamorous work that wins page one
None of this shows up on your website in a way a visitor notices, but Google notices all of it.
- Structured data (schema). JSON-LD that tells Google exactly who you are and what you offer. It is the richest signal you can send and it powers rich results and AI citations.
- Sitemaps and indexation. A clean XML sitemap plus tools like IndexNow so search engines re-crawl the moment a page changes.
- Core Web Vitals. Speed and stability. Slow pages get held back, especially on mobile.
- Canonicals and redirects. So Google never wastes crawl budget on duplicates or dead ends.
Fix it once, benefit everywhere
Technical wins compound. A schema template or a sitemap fix applies to every page at once, which is why we do this early in the process, right after the audit.
