Billing, Invoices & Canceling
Manage payment, view invoices, and cancel cleanly.
Billing, Invoices and Canceling
Everything to do with your Vibe SEO payment lives in one place: your customer portal at the /my-account/ page. This is where you update the card on file, pull up past invoices, and cancel a subscription you no longer want. This lesson walks through each of those, exactly as they work in the portal.
Getting into your account
Go to the /my-account/ page and sign in with your email address and password. If you just bought Vibe SEO, check your inbox for the "Set your Vibe SEO portal password" email, set a password, then sign in. Forgot it? Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in card.
Once you are in, the header reads "My Account" and shows the email you are signed in as, your business name, and a "Log out" link. Below that, the "Your products" section shows one window per product you own: the Vibe SEO Plugin, Vibe Agentic, and G Money.
Managing your payment method and invoices
Vibe SEO does not store your card or build its own invoice list. All of that lives in Stripe's secure billing portal, which you reach with the Manage billing button.
You will find "Manage billing" on the Vibe Agentic and G Money windows. Click it. The button changes to "Opening..." for a moment, then sends you to Stripe's hosted billing page. There you can:
- Update or replace the card on file
- View and download every past invoice and receipt
- Cancel that subscription
When you are done, Stripe returns you to your /my-account/ page automatically.
If you see "No billing profile is available yet," it means no Stripe customer record is linked to your account yet. Email support if that persists. If you see "Billing management is temporarily unavailable," just try again shortly.
One important note on failed payments: if a charge fails, your subscription is marked past due. The fix is to open Manage billing and update your card. Once Stripe retries successfully, you are back to active.
Canceling a plugin key
The Vibe SEO Plugin cancels a little differently, key by key, right on the dashboard. Each access key sits in a row with its status, the site it is activated on, its plan, and the next billing date. On the right of each row are two buttons: "Reassign domain" and Cancel.
Click Cancel to open the "Cancel this access key?" window. Read it carefully. It tells you two things:
- What happens to billing. On a paid key, it stays active until the end of the current billing period, then deactivates on its own. You are not billed again, and there are no prorated refunds for time already paid. If you are in a free trial or a 100%-off coupon period, you are never charged at all, and the key stays active until that period would have ended.
- What data you lose. When the key deactivates, the plugin stops working on that site and permanently deletes its virtual pages, dashboard stats and GSC history, scanner results, keyword watchlist and position history, block variations, link suggestions, and content briefs. None of it transfers anywhere.
Because that data loss is permanent, the red "Yes, cancel this key" button stays greyed out until you tick the acknowledgement checkbox confirming you understand. Tick it, click "Yes, cancel this key," and you get "Cancellation scheduled." A confirmation email follows.
After that, the key's status shows a "Cancels at period end" badge and the row reads "Ends" with the date. Changed your mind? Sign back into the portal and resubscribe before that end date.
Canceling Agentic or G Money
For Vibe Agentic and G Money, there is no per-row Cancel button. You cancel those through Manage billing, inside the Stripe portal, using Stripe's cancel option.
What a good result looks like
- To change your card: Manage billing, update in Stripe, return to /my-account/.
- To find an invoice: Manage billing, open the invoice history in Stripe, download the PDF.
- To cancel the plugin: Cancel on the key row, read the warnings, tick the box, confirm. Look for the "Cancels at period end" badge and the confirmation email.
Pro tips and common mistakes
- Cancel does not refund the current period, and access continues to the end date. There is no reason to cancel early to save money, and no reason to keep paying if you have decided to stop.
- Export anything you need, virtual page content especially, before a cancel or a reassign. Deletion is permanent and nothing moves to another site.
- If you only want to move Vibe SEO to a different website, use "Reassign domain," not Cancel. Reassign keeps your subscription running and issues a fresh key.
- A past due status is almost always a bad or expired card. Fix it in Manage billing rather than assuming something broke.
