For Agencies: Many Client Sites

Run Vibe across all your clients under one account.

For agencies: many client sites

If you run SEO for more than one business, you do not need a separate Vibe SEO login for every client. One account holds as many sites as you want. The rule is simple: your account can own many access keys, and each access key activates the Vibe SEO plugin on exactly one website. So an agency with twelve clients runs twelve sites under a single login, with twelve keys, one per client domain.

This matters because it keeps billing, activation, and site management in one place. You add a client by generating a key. You off-board a client by cancelling or reassigning that one key. Nothing you do to one client's site touches another.

One account, many keys, one key per site

When you subscribe, you get a portal login and a plan that sets how many sites you can run at once. The plans are Single Domain (one key), 3 Domains (three keys), and Unlimited Domains (no cap). For an agency, Unlimited Domains is the plan that fits, because you can keep adding keys as you sign clients without buying again.

Every key is locked to one domain the first time it is activated. Vibe SEO records the domain on the key, and after that the key only works there. If you try to paste the same key into a second client's site, activation is refused with a message that the key is already active on the first domain. This is by design, and it is what lets each client site stand on its own.

Adding a client site, step by step

  1. Sign in to your account portal at the /my-account/ page on vibeseo.com. First time in, look for the "Set your Vibe SEO portal password" email, set a password, then log in with your subscription email.
  2. In the "Your products" section, find the "Vibe SEO Plugin" window. It shows your plan, how many domains you are entitled to, and how many are in use, plus a table of every access key you own.
  3. Click the green "+ Add a key" button. Vibe SEO generates a new key under your plan and shows it in a pop-up with a Copy button. On Unlimited Domains you can do this as many times as you need. On 3 Domains the button disappears once all three are in use.
  4. Install the Vibe SEO plugin on the client's WordPress site. Use the "Download" button in the same portal window to get the plugin file, then upload and activate it in that site's WordPress.
  5. On the client site, go to Vibe SEO, then Settings. At the top is the "Access key" card. Paste the key into the field (it looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), tick the box to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click "Validate & activate."
  6. The card turns green and reads "Valid & active." Until a valid key is on file, all other Vibe SEO menus on that site stay hidden, so this step unlocks the whole plugin.

Repeat for each client. Back in your portal, that client's domain now appears in the "Activated on" column next to its key.

What a good result looks like

Your portal's key table shows one row per client. Each active key reads "Active" with the correct client domain under "Activated on," and the "in use" count matches the number of clients you are running. A key that reads "Awaiting activation" with no domain is one you generated but have not pasted into a site yet. On each client site, the Settings page shows the green "Valid & active" badge and a "Last checked" time.

Pro tips and common mistakes

  • One key, one domain, for life. Do not try to share a key across sites. Generate a fresh key for each client instead.
  • Activate on the final domain. The key binds to whatever domain it first activates on, so avoid burning a key on a staging or temporary URL. If a client goes live on a new domain later, use "Reassign domain" on that key to get a fresh one for the new site.
  • Off-boarding a client: use "Cancel" on that key to stop its billing at the end of the period, or "Reassign domain" to hand the key to a new client. Cancelling or reassigning a key permanently deletes that site's virtual pages, scanner results, dashboard stats, and other Vibe data, and none of it transfers. Export anything worth keeping first.
  • Each key bills on its own, so cancelling one client never disturbs the others.
  • Outages do not lock you out. Sites check in with vibeseo.com daily; if it is briefly unreachable, they keep their last-known active state. Use "Re-validate against vibeseo.com" on a site's Settings page to force an immediate check after any key change.
