Your First 30 Days With Vibe

Vibe SEO gives you a full SEO toolkit inside WordPress, but pointing every tool at your site on day one is a good way to get overwhelmed and finish nothing. This playbook sequences the work over four weeks so each step builds on the last. Everything below is a real tool in the Vibe SEO menu. Follow it in order and you will have a connected, audited, and actively improving site by the end of the month.

Week 1: Setup and audit

Start with the Setup wizard. It walks six steps: Business Basics, Location and Contact, Services, Brand Voice, Integrations, and Review and Finish. Vibe scrapes your homepage automatically to prefill what it can, so mostly you are correcting and confirming. The Location and Contact step uses a city picker for your service area, and those picks carry forward into the Service Areas tool later, so choose them carefully.

Next, open Settings. This is where you connect the data sources that power everything else. Click Connect with Google under Google Search Console and pick your property. Connect Google Business Profile the same way. Add your OpenAI API key here too, because Revamp and Generation will not run without it. If you want Vibe AI features powered by Claude, add an Anthropic key as well.

With connections in place, run your first audit. Open Site Wide Assistant and go to the Scanners sub-tab. It runs six audits: Link, AI, Grammar, SEO, Google Signal, and Duplicate. Run each one to get a baseline of what is broken, thin, or duplicated. Then open the Schema tool, set the primary @type to the most specific match for your business, fill any gaps the wizard did not, and save. Validate a live URL with Google's Rich Results Test to confirm it parses. Finish the week on the Dashboard, where the Keywords panels (Overview, Striking distance, Low CTR, and more) light up once Search Console has data.

A good week 1 result: wizard complete, Search Console and Business Profile connected, an OpenAI key saved, schema live and validating, and six scanner reports you can work through.

Week 2: Technical and on-page

Now fix what the scanners found, worst pages first. Start with the plumbing. Open the Sitemap tool, check its status, and use the submit-to-search-engines action. Open Redirects and import your existing rules from Yoast Premium, Rank Math, AIOSEO Pro, SEOPress, or the Redirection plugin, then watch the 404 monitor and add 301s for anything landing on a dead URL.

Work the Google Signal scanner to clear any accidental noindex on pages that should rank, then the SEO scanner for weak titles, metas, and headings. For bulk cleanup, the Bulk SEO editor lets you rewrite SEO titles and meta descriptions for many posts on one screen. Prioritize using the Dashboard Keywords tabs: Low CTR shows high-impression pages that need a better title, and Striking distance shows queries ranking 5 to 20 where a small push pays off most.

Two sub-tools under Site Wide Assistant round out the week. Image SEO scans for images missing alt text, writes them in bulk with AI, and converts JPEG and PNG media to WebP. Internal Links surfaces natural linking opportunities and lets you apply them one click at a time. Finally, use Revamp to rewrite weak or duplicate text blocks in the editor. It marks a block, rewrites it, and shows a diff for your approval before anything changes.

Weeks 3 and 4: Local and content

The last stretch is about coverage and momentum. Open Service Areas to pull cities and neighborhoods from OpenStreetMap with real coordinates, review the list, and feed it into Virtual Pages or Generation. Virtual Pages serves city and service URLs without creating real posts, while Generation clones service templates per location with token replacement. Use Edit City to give a specific city page unique content, and Block Variations to rotate template text so pages do not read identically.

For local presence, GBP Automation posts to Google Business, replies to reviews, and suggests optimizations for your connected profile, and GBP Performance on the Dashboard tracks impressions, calls, and clicks. For fresh content, Content Creator generates a brief and then a full draft. Seed it from the Keywords Questions and Wrong-page tabs, which point you at real searches you are not answering well yet.

Close the month by setting up Reports to email a branded SEO digest to yourself or a client on a daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedule, and by turning on Agentic, the always-on team that scans and fixes content continuously inside your existing design. Every Agentic change is logged under Activity and can be rolled back.

Common mistakes

Do not skip the Google connections. Without Search Console, the Dashboard and half your prioritization go dark. Do not mass-generate city pages before your schema and core pages are solid. And always validate schema and preview Revamp diffs before trusting them. Vibe surfaces the opportunities, but you still approve the moves.
